Funny place Worthing, squeezed between noisy Brighton and ancient Chichester. Traditionally a small, quiet, seaside resort for families, it now provides a very comfortable dormitory function for crowded and overpriced Brighton. A windsurfers paradise, with miles of flat and clean sandy beaches, when the tide goes out, plus the Sussex Downs and Weald just behind.
